What a Year!

This past school year has truly been one of the most challenging years for public education and the students and families we serve. Despite the challenges we have faced with the global pandemic, I believe we have all learned and grown from this unfortunate experience.

The collective work that has been done to get our students back in school along with providing opportunities to improve our small district are due, in a large part, to an incredible staff that puts kids first. I have truly treasured the chance to work with this amazing staff that continues to do everything in their power to support the students of Great Northern.

I am equally impressed with our amazing students who have worked hard to grow as learners and kids, despite a school year that was anything but typical. They can do virtually anything!

Be well and we wish you all an enjoyable and warm summer break. We all look forward to seeing you back at Great Northern on Wednesday, September 1!
